According to Seth Godin bloggers should blog about what they are doing, whether it is the successes or failures of their projects. Blogging is the unfolding of one person's experience being shared by the world. Use your blog to tell your story in a way that means something to you. Your business will evolve out of the stories you share, and others will either jump onto your wagon or wait for the next bus.
Either way, with Web 2.0 it is the consumer that has the ultimate decision to be marketed to or not. We all complained about the lack of variety when we only had three television networks - well, now we have a plethora of everything. So tell your story, let your business unfold, and when the dust settles you will see that you haven't sold out - just stood firm.

Spike,
I think people would learn much from hearing about your projects. We are sometimes so involved in our daily business activities that we forget that others are having similar struggles and successes. So I would blog about your projects and let your readers decide.

I struggle about blogging about our projects. It's hard to talk about them without it sounding like we're trying to sell readers on our company. Sure, it happens every once in a while, but I think if we talked about our projects everyday, it would turn people off.
