Before you write an article or post to your blog, take some time to think about what you will write. Plan out your delivery of information to prospective clients and other readers. If you just write about anything that is currently in your stream of consciousness the effect will be disjointed words and ideas that may as well have been written by a monkey.
If, on the other hand, you design a campaign that will inform, educate and otherwise enlighten your readers, they will come back for more and begin to see you as an authority in your field over a period of time. It is entirely up to you to decide which it will be.
