I have been blogging now for three years. In the beginning it felt like I was writing to myself, and I was, because I had not yet built a following. I also made the mistake of starting many blogs all at once, further complicating the process of building my credibility and visibility online. I have learned quite a bit during this time, and much of it has come from Darren Rowse, the main blogger at ProBlogger.
Recently Darren wrote a post about this very subject. It asked the question 'Is writing great content enough to build a successful blog?' I recommend that you read this post and subscribe to this blog. His insight into this topic is great food for thought.
Business blogging, the art
and science of connecting with others around the globe, is a complex task. But once you begin to make these connections, your success can come rather quickly. I have experienced this phenomena is my short time writing on the internet. You must be different, be willing to share, and be able to stay focused on your field of expertise. You must also be willing to read and comment on other blogs as much as you write on your own. If you don't, you will end up writing to yourself, while your readers go elsewhere.

Hi Connie:
