A mentor is defined as someone who is a trusted advisor and teacher, in contrast to a coach, who just cheers you on. You will find that most successful people, no matter what field they are in, continue to have mentors in their lives.
If you are new to the internet, you will find that many people claim to be mentors in various areas of internet marketing. Depending on how busy they are, you may be able to reach them by phone or email. Sometimes they have an assistant, known online as a VA (virtual assistant). Other times you cannot reach this 'mentor' no matter how hard you try.
My business is built on the premise that
no one can be successful without some help and guidance from others. So it was a natural progression for me to go from internet trainer and teacher to online writing and technology mentor. I love helping my students reach their goals. If they are stuck in one area I will send them a quick email or pick up the phone to speak with them. In my mind, that is what a mentor does and that is how my people become successful in their online busness.
