Back To A Regular Blogging Routine

When I started this blog back in 2006 it was my intention to post to it at least three times a week. Somewhere along the way I was distracted by other activities, and I began to post less and less frequently. Now it is three years later and I intent to become active again.

So what was so important that I all but abandoned this blog? Building my online business was my goal, so I have posted almost daily to eBook Writing and Marketing Secrets. I also have a new blog, started in May of this year, call Big Money, Tiny List. These two sites keep me pretty busy.

I also teach new entrepreneurs how to get started online. This is my passion and I spend as much time as I possibly can helping others to be successful online. But the time has come for me to get back into a regular blogging routine here on this blog. Starting next month I will post twice a week to this site. Your comments are always welcomed.

Internet Marketing Or Offline Businesses - How Many Hats Do You Wear?

How many hats do you wear in your small business? Whether you are marketing entirely on the internet, or have an offline business, most likely you are the one who does it all.

In my business, Ebook Writing and Marketing, I wear all of the hats. Copywriting, blogging, article writing and marketing, teleseminars, Google Adwords, customer service, product creation, billing and more, are all my responsibility. I do have a virtual assistant who is handling some of the back-end for me, but basically I am the one who runs the day to day operations.

Is this a good idea? In the beginning it is important for you to know and understand every aspect of your small business. Afetr a year or so, begin to find reliable and competent people to outsourse some of the work. This will free up your time to do what you do best, while also giving you time to relax and think creatively about where you want your business to go in the future.

Are You Working From Home?

More and more people are now working from home and that number is expected to keep rising dramatically. There are many reasons for this, including the need for people to be at home to care for children and aging parents, the price of gasoline, and the desire of many to make their own hours and to control their own future.

I work from home for all of the above reasons and find it extremely fulfilling and financially rewarding. I give myself a raise anytime I  want to by creating a new product or writing more articles. I have been able to do this primarily with the help of both Tom Antion and Jeff Herring. These two internet marketing geniuses have taught me how to write and create my own products and to then market them on the internet.
